The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced the amounts and collection dates of the scholarships Support Program for Students of Argentina (Progresar). The objective of this is to promote the right to education of all young people regardless of social and economic inequalities.

Who can access the Progresar Scholarships
This program is aimed at young people 16 to 24 years but it also contemplates priority cases without an age limit. Currently, there are three types of scholarships in the program:

Progress Mandatory Level: promotes the completion of the compulsory educationand includes a subline designed for 16 and 17 year olds.

Progress Higher Level: accompanies students of colleges and universities.

Progress Work: It is aimed at those who decide to carry out vocational training courses.

Starting in August, Progresar Scholarships will increase by 56.5%.
Requirements to access the Progresar Scholarships
In order to receive the Progresar Scholarships, students must meet the following conditions. Although some are general, there are specific requirements for each type of program:
Progress Mandatory Level
- Be Argentinean native or naturalized, or foreigner with legal residence of 2 years in the country and having an ID.
- have between 16 and 24 years of age at the time of the closing of the call.
- The sum of the income of the student and his or her family group It should not be higher than three Minimum, Vital and Mobile Wages (SMVM).
- Comply with the condition of regular student.
- Engage in complementary activities determined by the program.
- Comply with the academic conditions established in the Progress Regulation.

Progress Higher Level
- Be Argentinean native or naturalized, or foreigners with legal residence of at least 5 years in the country, with DNI.
- Incoming students: between 17 and 24 years of age.
- Advanced students: up to 30 years.
- Nursing students: no age limit.
- The sum of the income of the student and those of his family group It should not be more than three SMVM.
- Be high school graduate and not owe subjects at the time of registration.
- Enter or be studying in national or provincial universities, national university institutes or higher technical education institutes, state-run technical training and teacher training institutes.
- Comply with the academic conditions established in the Progress Regulation.
- Count on complete vaccination schedule or ongoing depending on age group.
- Participate in the complementary activities that the program determines.
Progress Work
- Be Argentinean native or naturalized, or foreigner with legal residence of 2 years in the country and having an ID.
- have between 18 and 24 years compliments.
- Extends up to 40 years for people who do not have formal registered work.
- The sum of the applicant’s income should not exceed three SMVM.
Amount of the ANSES Progresar Scholarships in January 2025
The amount of the Progresar Scholarships has not been updated since August 2024. Therefore, their value is $35,000 per beneficiary.
When do I receive the Progresar Scholarship in January
Students will be able to receive the scholarship from January 14. The order of collection is determined by the last number of the DNI, and the dates are:
