Alexander Zverev got a good draw for the Australian Open. The tennis world number two will meet Frenchman Lucas Pouille at the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. The world number 104 starts in Melbourne with a wild card. The duel is happening for the first time.
Possible semi-final against Alcaraz or Djokovic
Zverev is aiming for the first Grand Slam title of his career. In the third round he could face Australian Nick Kyrgios. In a possible semi-final there could be a duel with the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz or the Serbian Novak Djokovic. The two favorites would meet in the quarter-finals. As number one in the world, Italian defending champion Jannik Sinner leads the men’s main field. The Australian Open starts on Sunday.
