The government of the City of Buenos Aires started the Summer Plan 2025a program designed to perform high-impact street improvements busiest and need maintenance. The goal is to take advantage of the months of the year with the lowest traffic flow.

According to reports, this year the works will cover almost 200 blocksequivalent to approximately 166,000 square meters of surface in emblematic streets and avenues such as Córdoba, Santa Fe, Hipólito Yrigoyen and Diagonal Norteamong many others.

A balance of 2024: annual repaving and patching tasks
The Summer Plan is part of a sustained road maintenance policy that the Buenos Aires Government carries out throughout the year.
In 2024, these actions included:
- 736 blocks repaved.
- 13,314 potholes repaired.
- 36 streets repaved.
- 3,800 marked crossings.
