Niclas Füllkrug continues to be plagued by bad luck with injuries. The striker has barely gotten into shape at his club West Ham United when he has to take another break.
The German national soccer striker Niclas Füllkrug has to take another forced break. The striker suffered a hamstring injury in English first division club West Ham United’s 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup at league rivals Aston Villa and will be out for a few weeks. His club announced this.
Füllkrug had just gotten back into form and also scored in the duel with Manchester City. The 31-year-old striker had previously missed several games in the early stages of the season due to an irritated Achilles tendon. So far, Füllkrug, who moved from Borussia Dortmund to London last summer, has only made nine Premier League appearances and two goals this season.
