Next Tuesday, Deliberative Council of Villa Allendein Córdoba, will hold an extraordinary session to discuss a draft ordinance that proposes a security plan that includes the closure of several streets in the city.

Although it is a local discussion, the initiative revived the internal one in La Libertad Avanza, after a representative Lemoine question the vice president Villarruel for having shown up alongside the authorities of that municipality.

The national legislator decided to spend part of her vacation in this province and upon arriving in this city, she learned of a protest against the measure promoted by the local mayor, Pablo Cornet.

“I am in front of the municipality of Villa Allende with some of the neighbors who are strongly opposed to closing their streets and putting a curfew on them,” explained the deputy while recording a video with a group of protesters.

In the filming, which he later shared on his social networks, Lemoine flatly denied that this proposal “has the support of the National Government” and assured that it is “a negotiation.”

Subsequently, the official from the ruling party also criticized Vice President Victoria Villarruel, with whom she has a long-standing confrontation, for having been photographed days ago with Cornet himself.

“On the way to Córdoba I find out that in Villa Allende there is a bizarre project by the mayor to lock up the neighbors and that the vice president is going for a walk to Jesús María; I decide to avoid it, but help the neighbors, what do I find? To the vice with the liberticidal mayor…“, he wrote.

Very active on the networks, Lilia Lemoine responded to a user who mentioned that Victoria Villarurel was in Jesús María. “I know. “I was about to go to the three waterfalls in Ascochinga and I went as far away as I could just in case,” he replied. And with a hostile charge, he completed: “Let’s see if she reports that the leech is harassing her….”

“The comments from the people from Villarruelines below seeing me speak without a muzzle are not wasted. “You touch them and they break.”the fight continued on X (ex Twitter).

The security project that causes controversy in Córdoba

The proposal of the ruling party Villa Allende to combat insecurity has generated controversy in the town. This is a project that seeks to implement the closure of 35 secondary streets between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The measure has sparked divided opinions, especially among the councilors of the Elegí Villa Allende bloc, who are firmly opposed to the initiative.

The councilor Julio Loza expressed his rejection of the proposal, stating that “the mayor and the government secretary in the month of December announced something that had no basis.”

In dialogue with Cadena 3, Loza criticized the lack of a specific ordinance and pointed out that the current project is “absolutely ambiguous”, since it specifies the closure of streets in five neighborhoods without a clear legal framework.

Furthermore, Loza argued that this measure is “absolutely unconstitutional” and contrary to both the National and Provincial Constitutions, as well as the organic charter of the municipality.

The councilor also emphasized that “this generates double taxation”, since the inhabitants of Córdoba already pay taxes that include the security service, which is the responsibility of the province, not the municipality.

From the opposition, it is estimated that the cost of implementing these 35 fenced points amounts to 600 million pesos. The discussion on the closure of streets will take place next Tuesday in the Deliberative Council at 6:30 p.m. This topic continues to generate an intense debate in Villa Allende and is expected to continue giving something to talk about in the coming days.
