What does the tariff review consist of?
The review includes the methodology for periodic rate adjustment, the modification of the Distribution Service Regulations to regulate cuts due to non-payment, and the review of rates for REDENGAS SA, a subdistributor in Paraná, Entre Ríos. The last gas rate update was made in December, establishing new tariff tables. The monthly fixed charge for category R was set at $2,544.09 in the City of Buenos Aires and $2,938.02 in the province of Buenos Aires. In the case of category R2, the costs for the Federal Capital were established at $7,542.56 (1st), $9,149.45 (2nd) and $11,566.52 (3rd); while for the suburbs they were $6,824.67 (1st), $8,369.47 (2nd) and $10,368.69 (3rd).
In parallel, other services such as electricity, water and fuels also suffered tariff adjustments. In this context, the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, reported that “natural gas transportation and distribution rates should increase by 3%.” Likewise, he indicated that the Transportation System Entry Point (PIST) It will be determined by ENARGAS in accordance with the formula established in article 5 of resolution 41/2024.
