The national government announced that there will be a new mandatory requirement for all holders of the Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) of the National Social Security Administration (ANSES). This was reported through the Official Gazette, in Resolution 187/2025, where the Regulatory Decree No. 432/1997.

This is because the National Disability Agency (ANDIS) modified the conditions that holders must meet to collect the PNC for Disability this year. As well explained through the agency, this requirement will be reported through the presentation of the Official Medical Certificate (CMO) and its supporting medical documentation, which must indicate pathology and degree of disability.

ANSES: these holders will be discharged from their pensions in February 2025
ANSES will cancel the PNC due to disability of those beneficiaries who do not comply with the new ANDIS regulationswhich is the following:
- Prove a work disability of 66% or more, through an Official Medical Certificate (CMO).
- Be up to 65 years of age.
- Be a native or naturalized Argentine, resident in the country.
- Foreigners must have resided in Argentina for 10 years or, if they are minors, their parents must have lived in the national territory for 3 years.
- Do not collect retirement or pension.
- For minors, the family group’s income cannot exceed 4 minimum pensions, that is, less than 1.2 million pesos.

The government carried out a audit of Non-Contributory Disability Pensions and as a result of the rresults considered alarming, ANDIS suspended 60% of the owners of the province of Chaco because irregularities were found. According to the official report, there were serious cases of fraud and negligence in diagnosiss that justified the granting of the benefit.
