Javier Milei’s government conditions an eventual electoral alliance with the PRO: “the North is not negotiated”

Manuel Adorni spoke of a possible electoral alliance with the PRO and invited all leaders who want to join. However, he clarified that gradualism “is not part of the Government’s vocabulary.”

The Government once again established conditions for an eventual electoral agreement with the PRO in view of the legislative elections. Manuel Adorni, presidential spokesperson, assured that “The north is not negotiated” because doing so “would be betraying the electorate,” in a context marked by the growing tension between the administration of Javier Milei and the party led by Mauricio Macri.

In statements to News Air on Radio Miter, Adorni stated that, although ““It is better to go together than not.” To “pulverize Kirchnerism” in the elections, President Milei is not willing to prioritize that unity over the ideas and principles defended by his Government.

Adorni stressed: “We always said it: whoever wants to join the ideas or the winds of transformation that blow in Argentina will be welcome. We do not discuss candidates or prioritize them, because we are governing. President Milei has already invited Macri to dialogue and reach a consensus to eradicate Kirchnerism. We extend this invitation to all who wish to contribute to the progress of the country. It is essential to remember that we must unite to move forward.”

Adorni: “shock was the only viable option”

The spokesperson also referred to the differences between Milei and Macri, mentioning the impact of gradualism during management Previous: “Macri governed and we saw the results. Gradualism did not allow the time necessary to realize structural changes. In our situation, at the beginning of hyperinflation and without access to creditthere was no room for gradualism. If there had been, we would still have chosen shock and followed the same path.”

He emphasized that “gradualism is not part of the vocabulary of President Milei or the Government” and criticized concepts used in the past, such as “rain of investments” and “green shoots,” arguing that these do not generate concrete changes without deep and firm actions.

Adorni concluded: “The only thing impossible is what is not attempted. Our objective is clear: do whatever it takes to fulfill our visionregardless of polls, opinions or the resistance of an opposition anchored in the past. “The president is determined to move forward and pull Argentina out of decadence after decades of populism.”
