A member of the comparsa Papelitos was involved in a scandal, after being registered hitting a dog with a stick who had entered the Gualeguaychú corsódrome in the middle of the parade, and in light of this the Juventud Unida Sports Club, to which that group belongs, had to release a statement apologizing.
The reprehensible action happened in the last hours in the middle of traditional presentations in Entre Ríos. This Saturday more than 15,000 people participated in the third day of the exhibition, but the commotion on social networks began after a video was published showing the aggression.
The parade was overshadowed when a spectator recorded the moment in which one of the batuqueros from the Papelitos troupe hit a dog that was in the middle of the track with his stick.

The Juventud Unida Club had to release a statement in which they reflected on the attack: “We regret the actions of one of our members of the troupe, on Saturday, January 18, at the batucada show.”
“Neither the euphoria of the spectacle, nor the fact of being judged by a jury, merits such action. This does not represent the values of our institution”the writing continues.
“The Juventud Unida board of directors apologizes, taking the necessary measures. We repudiate any act of animal abuse,” he concludes.
Hours later, The Güaba organization uploaded a photo of the dog and asked for collaboration: “Chicle is a young, neutered, male dog. He likes to walk, go out and have fun. We are looking for someone who wants to accompany him and take care of him on his adventures.”
For now it has not been reported whether the batuquero continues to be part of the troupe or if he was disaffected after the controversy.
