American Football: Media: Trump plans a visit to Super Bowl

US President Donald Trump wants to be in the stadium at the Super Bowl. An employee of the White House confirmed CNN and Axios that Trump is planning to visit the Football Profiliga NFL Final. The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will take place in New Orleans next Monday (CET).

US media continued to report that Trump was the first incumbent US president to visit a super bowl. Barack Obama had announced in 2011 to drive to the NFL final if the Chicago Bears should play there. But the team from his previous place of residence left the later champion Green Bay Packers in the semi -finals.

Interview: Trump doesn’t do it like bids

A visit to Trump is likely to strengthen the already high security measures in the city on the Mississippi. During New Year’s Eve, an assassin was raced into a lot on the famous bourbon Street with a pick-up truck. Fourteen people were killed, around three dozen others were injured. The perpetrator, a supporter of the terrorist militia Islamic State (IS), died at a change of shooting with police officers.

Trump will be seen before the game – on TV. The broadcaster Fox News will broadcast an interview with the 78-year-old, which was recorded in advance in his place of residence in Florida. Obama had once introduced this type of interviews, after which Trump and his successor Joe Biden had partially dispensed with.

The Super Bowl is watching around 100 million viewers in the United States every year, it is the world’s largest individual sporting event.
