Boxer Maxim “Ax” Shcherbakov turned to law enforcement after a conflict with his former coach Albert Karmazyan. This was reported to Izvestia on February 3 by a source familiar with the situation.
“Yes, Max“ Ax ”after the conflict with Karmazyan filed a statement with law enforcement agencies,” the source said.
The incident between the boxer and the coach occurred on Friday, January 28, after Shcherbakov’s fight with Maxim Novoselov. In the locker room, Shcherbakov had a conflict with the assistant organizers and former mentor Albert Karmazyan. The conflict escalated into a fight, as a result of which the “Ax” received a concussion and a broken nose.
After the fight, the boxer said that he no longer wanted to have anything to do with Karmazyan, as he attacked him in front of his wife and friends. “Axe” emphasized that he was beaten after a concussion in the ring, when he did not expect.
Later, information appeared on the network that Ax decided to write a statement to the police against his ex-coach.
According to the document, which was published on the Internet, the boxer turned to the police department for the Ostankinsky district of Moscow, asking “to conduct a check on the fact of possible illegal actions.”
