Laura Nolte got her fourth European championship title in the two-way bob and thus made the double in Lillehammer perfect. After EM gold in Monobob, she also won the fourth win of the season in the World Cup, which was held in parallel and expanded her leadership in the overall World Cup.

The two-man Olympic champion of Beijing won the two hundredths of a second ahead of Kim Kalicki and Leonie Fiebig with shearer Leonie Kluwig. Lisa Buckwitz from BRC Thuringia and Kira Lipperheide rounded off the perfect German performance on the 1994 Olympic Railway.

“We are really happy, I’m really satisfied with the start times,” said the 26 -year -old Winterberger Nolte, who drove with a view to the World Cup in Lake Placid without a regular Deborah Levi, who is supposed to prepare for the title fights.
