Did I offend you somehow? As you saw, I never mentioned Novoselov and his team anywhere in any interview, I didn’t touch them,” Karmazyan told Izvestia on February 4.

He noted that not only a fighter can organize a fight. Others may be interested in this as well.

“But for some reason, the person took it upon himself. There is a saying – a thief’s hat burns. Max, if you have any doubts, or rather, if you are sure that you have such a knockout punch, you can go to the fight with me, anywhere, see how you knock me out, ”added the coach.

He stressed that Shcherbakov performed very poorly in the duel with Novoselov. After the opponent’s blow, the Ax staggered, which looked “shameful”.

“We would have prepared more seriously, we would have made the people believe, everyone can see that this is a decree,” Karmazyan said.

The fight took place on January 28, the meeting ended with the victory of Novoselov.

After the fight, a fight broke out between the losing Ax and his former coach – in the locker room, Shcherbakov had a conflict with Karmazyan. The skirmish escalated into a fight, as a result of which Ax received a concussion and a broken nose.

According to the Izvestia source, after the incident, Shcherbakov turned to law enforcement agencies with a complaint about the former coach.
