The leadership of Chacarita repudiated “vigorously” the riots that occurred on Wednesday, during the march of Retirees to the Congressand that told the support of fans from different clubs.

In that sense, and in its social networks, the directive said that Chacarita “It strongly repudiates the acts of violence that occurred during the march of Wednesday, March 12 of the current year in Congress and its surroundings”.

Likewise, the institution made it clear that the acts of violence that occurred during the protest “go against the values” promoted by the club. Although, they stressed that “freedom of expression and the right to protest are fundamental rights in a democratic society,” they asked to consider the “responsibility” that entails the exercise of these rights, “especially when crimes occur during protests.”

Chacarita fans were the first to demonstrate with the retirees on March 5 and were responsible for summoning other clubs to march this Wednesday in the face of the repression of security forces.

On the other hand, after uploading the official brief, the leadership replied two more messages. In the first, the club wrote: “Chacarita Juniors is a community that has been built on the basis of respect, passion and commitment to football and its people,” and added that “we do not tolerate or endorse behaviors that promote violence in any of its forms.”

In the second message of X, the cast of the First National B said: “We call all our partners, fans and supporters to always maintain respect and coexistence as fundamental pillars of our identity.”
