DFB team against Italy with Goretzka and Mainz Duo
The national coach relies against the Squadra Azzurra on shape strength. At the first leg in Milan, the returnees Goretzka and Amiri and the top of Burkardt start.
After the failure of several top players, national coach Julian Nagelsmann relies in the quarter-final first leg of the Nations League against Italy on the returnee Leon Goretzka and the two Mainz Nadiem Amiri and Jonathan Burkardt. For the 30 -year -old Goretzka, it is the first international match in Milan in the evening in 16 months. The 28 years of Amiri even had to wait for his fifth international match since November 2020.
