The lack of oxygen in the brain caused serious injuries from which it has not been possible to recover despite its transfer to China.
The soccer player of 18 years of Beijing Guoan, Guo Jiaxuanhe died this Thursday because of a blow to his head. The serious accident occurred during a training party against RC Alcobendas in the Community of Madrid, which caused brain death. The incident occurred on February 6, 2025.
According to the Beijing Football Federation, the medical team of both teams immediately attended the player in the field. Then, he was transferred to the hospital by helicopter, where he received medical attention for four hours before being declared with brain death because of a hemorrhage.
His relatives demand access to the video images of the party and the details of the medical treatment his son received before his arrival at the hospital. The player’s brother said Tuesday on social networks that his family seeks “truth and justice.”

Accusations about concealment of information
The specific circumstances that led to the coma of Guo Jiaxuan are still not clear and his family has accused the Beijing Football Associationthe main official body that manages football in the Chinese capital, to hide information about the tragedy.
The Beijing Football Association issued in a statement, “we are committed to protecting Jiaxuan’s legitimate rights and interests and to help your family with the necessary procedures.”
