At the World Cup degree, the ski jumpers show a big flight show – with a world record. A long -standing German service provider is there after his big farewell as a spectator with a can beer.
The Slovenian Domen Prevc set up a world record at the spectacular season end of the ski jumpers. The 25-year-old flew 254.5 meters in the second round and thus one meter further than the former record holder Stefan Kraft from Austria. “Incredible, I’m flabbergasted,” said Karl Geiger in the ARD about the impressive PrevC flight. The Oberstdorfer became tenth. Pius Paschke finished sixth as the second best German.

The six -time world champion ended his long and successful career on Saturday with second place in team flying. “You’re just a big family. I will miss it – miss it incredibly,” said the 33 -year -old in the ARD. “Now I’m going on vacation first.”
