For the last time, Germany’s golf icon Bernhard Langer goes to the legendary Masters course in Augusta. The start gives him all the chances of creating the cut after the second round.

Bernhard Langer started his last golf master with a decent result. The two-time winner played a 74 round at the start of the Par-72 course in Augusta (US state of Georgia) and thus remained two strokes above the place of space. Overall, it is already the 41st participation in the prestigious tournament for Langer.

The 67-year-old had previously announced that he wanted to compete at the tournament for the last time. With his first triumph 40 years ago, the Swabian Golf, who had long lived in the USA, suddenly moved into the spotlight in Germany. In 1993 he again secured the legendary green jacket for the winner.

Bogeys on the second half

After long than half of the round had needed one blow less than planned, so -called bogeys made it on the 12th, 13th and 17th track. The Anhausen team each needed one blow more than the standard.

After the second round, the so -called cut follows on Friday, in which the weaker players leave. Only the better part of the field is qualified for the other two rounds.
