Solid and a few tears: Tennis team out without chance
After the clear defeat at the start, Germany’s tennis players need a 3-0 against Great Britain. But that goes wrong. Now it is no longer about the title – but about another goal.
Without their number one Eva Lys, the German tennis players clearly missed the finals in the Billie Jean King Cup. After the 0: 3 against the Netherlands, Jule Niemeier’s single defeat in the duel with Great Britain sealed the quick end in qualification.
