Max Verstappen managed to head the podium in Suzuka and take several points for Red Bull.
Max VerstappenFormula 1 pilot, he achieved first place in the Japan Grand Prix, which gave him enough points in the pilot table, in addition to adding to his Red Bull team with which he already competes some years ago. While everything seems to go wonderfully McLaren holds first place in the Cup of Builders that is played this year.
The British team was the winner of this championship last season. After 25 years he took the title and for this new season he is not far behind, since he obtained second and third place in Suzuka. As to Red Bull that he had a podium, in his second car, which is now piloting the Japanese Yuki Tsunoda, failed to add points which complicates the bull’s team in this cup.
The points for the Builder Championship are calculated by adding the points obtained in each race by any pilot of a builder. That is why only Verstappen added points for the team. Russell and Antonelli added to Mercedes and Norris and Piastri for McLaren. These three teams are on the podium of the Cup of Builders.

The Japan Grand Prix did not modify the table that had been formed in China. Lawson’s change for Tsunoda did not generate a sum of points for Red Bull and the other shields remained the same.
After Suzuka the positions in the Constructors Championship with the sum of the points they obtained from the beginning of the season were like this:
- McLaren: 111 points.
- Mercedes: 75.
- Red Bull: 61.
- Ferrari: 35.
- Williams: 19.
- Haas: 15.
- Aston Martin: 10.
- Racing Bulls: 7.
- Sauber: 6.
- Alpine: 0.
This table could indicate a double championship of the British team although a winner cannot be appointed yet since several dates remain ahead this season. The next race is in the Bahrain circuit, next weekend.
