German ice hockey women’s team is in the World Cup quarter-finals
The German ice hockey team has given a medal as an offensive goal for the World Cup. After the victory against Hungary, the first step has been on the way there.
With the second victory in succession, the German ice hockey players made the early move into the quarter -finals at the World Cup in the Czech Republic. The selection of national coach Jeff Macleod won the game against Hungary 4: 1 (0: 0, 1: 1, 3: 0) and could meet one of the top nations like Canada or USA in the next round. In the last group game, the German team will first meet Japan on Tuesday (3 p.m.).
After a goalless first third with a longer 3: 5 outnumber, the German team came to the 1-0 lead by Nicola Hadraschek in the 28th minute, but still had to accept the equalization by Emma Kreisz (37.) in the middle third.
