Dennis Schröder loses Playoff start with Detroit
Dennis Schröder started with the Detroit Pistons with a defeat in the NBA playoffs. A superstar duo collects a clear bankruptcy.
The German basketball player Dennis Schröder has received an unnecessary defeat with the Detroit Pistons at the start of the playoff in the NBA. With 112: 123 (55:57) the pistons lost the first game of the knockout round of the North American professional league-despite a tour at the beginning of the final area
Schröder got the 98:90 lead Detroits around nine minutes before the end, then the guests received a 0: 21 run within four and a half minutes. Ultimately, Detroit clearly lost the last quarter with 21:40. Schröder scored eight points and three assists, the best thrower of the game was New York’s playmaker Jalen Brunson with 34 points.
For the pistons it is the first playoff participation since the 2018/19 season. The last playoff victory was even further back: in 2008 the Pistons recently won a game in the NBA finals, the 15 defeats in the playoffs are now a league record.
Doncic and James collected clear bankruptcy
The Los Angeles Lakers around the superstar duo Luka Doncic and LeBron James also put a false start into the playoffs. At home, the 17-time master lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves with 95:117 (48:59), and 37 points from Doncic could not prevent the bankruptcy.
Doncic put on 16 points alone in the first quarter, but the second round clearly went to the guests with 38:20, who checked the game after the break. James marked 19 points, the German basketball player Maxi Kleber was still unable to work for the Lakers due to injury. In the Timberwolves, three players scored over 20 points, with 21 transformed threesome made Minnesota a team record for a playoff game.
The Denver Nuggets prevailed against the Los Angeles Clippers with 112: 110 (98:98, 49:53) after extra time. Superstar Nikola Jokic missed only a triple double with 29 points, twelve assists and nine rebounds, double-digit values in three statistics categories. With 117: 98 (67:43), the Indiana Pacers had no problems against the Milwaukee Bucks, in which superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo (36 points) was too on their own.
