Before the duel with the Vienna Capitals, the Steinbach Black Wings had to let coach Raimo Summanen go yesterday. For personal reasons, he had asked for the contract to be terminated – and the Black Wings informed that this request had been complied with.
Against the Vienna Capitals, Mark Szücs will take care of the Black Wings as head coach. Szücs has had to help out as caretaker coach once this season and has eight points in five games. Incidentally, this is exactly the same yield that the Vienna Capitals had in the last five games in the league. The engine of the Viennese seems to stutter a bit, the sixth place is not really secured at the back. Accordingly, the caps can be expected to be aggressive today.
From Linz’s point of view, Center Will Pelletier will be there again, who recently had to leave out a false positive rapid corona test. A deployment of striker Alexander Lahoda decides only at short notice.
