Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen remains Bayern Munich on the heels

The master decision in the Bundesliga is postponed. Table leader FC Bayern fulfilled his homework for an early title celebration through the 3: 0 (2: 0) home win against FSV Mainz 05. But due to the simultaneous 2: 0 (2: 0) success of pursuer Bayer Leverkusen against FC Augsburg, the 34th championship title for the Munich team is not perfect three game days before the end of the season. With a further eight points ahead of Bavaria, Bayern can make the championship clear on its own next weekend.

Eintracht Frankfurt consolidated third place through the 4: 0 (1: 0) success via RB Leipzig, which suffered a sensitive setback in the race for the Champions League qualification. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund is stuck to the Champions League places. The BVB, which has been unbeaten for five league games, won 3-2 (1-0) at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and climbed sixth. SC Freiburg jumped in fourth place at VfL Wolfsburg through the 1-0 (0: 0), RB Leipzig remains behind it.
