Real coach Ancelotti makes it clear: No statement before May 25th
Carlo Ancelotti continues to comment on speculation about his future. The real coach is traded as the upcoming national coach of Brazil. Another candidate for the Seleção job is now free.
Carlo Ancelotti does not want to say anything about his future in the Spanish football championship until the last matchday of this season. The 65 -year -old coach of Real Madrid emphasized in the middle of all speculation: “Before May 25th, I will not talk about my future.”
That day, the royal players play in the Primera División at home against Real Sociedad from San Sebastián – and the club then celebrates the title in the Real -Wunsthel. In the championship, however, no slip can be affected in the remote duel with the frontrunner FC Barcelona. The next weekend there will be a possible decisive Clásico in Barcelona.
“I like this club and I like my players very much,” said Ancelotti in the press conference before the match against Celta Vigo (Sunday, 2 p.m.). “I understand that you want to know, but I don’t intend to talk about it now,” emphasized the highly decorated Italian: “I know exactly what I will do.”
Ancelotti’s contract runs until the end of June next year, but its departure is expected. Leverkusen’s coach Xabi Alonso is repeatedly mentioned as the successor. Ancelotti’s goal could be Brazil. The association there wants the Italian as a national coach. Supposedly there should be an oral agreement, but there was no signature yet.
Alternative to Ancelotti now without a club
In addition to a severance payment that Ancelotti supposedly wants from Real, the start date of a Brazil engagement should also play a role. The new coach is scheduled to join the next World Cup qualifiers in early June. However, Real also takes part in the World Club Championship from mid-June to mid-July.
The Brazilian association continued to hope for a happy ending, even if the negotiations were in a dead end, Brazil’s “O Globo” wrote. Should it not work with Ancelotti after a job had failed a year ago, Jorge Jesus, who was also traded as a candidate, would now also be available. The 70-year-old was released at Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia before the end of the season.
“It will be a fantastic farewell”
Meanwhile, Ancelotti emphasized that when it was: “It will be a fantastic farewell.” He has never had a dispute with Real Madrid.
