According to a media report, the former Tour de France winner Jan Ullrich was violated in an accident. As Eurosport reported, citing his management, the 51-year-old was hit by a car when working on the bike training near his place of residence. In the fall, Ullrich suffered a broken collarbone, bruises and skin abrasions. He was taken to the hospital and had to be treated there.
In the coming days, Ullrich should be at Eurosport after the broadcasts of the stages of the Giro d’Italia launched on Friday in the program “Velo Club”. The appearances in the live show were canceled because of the accident.
