Mekhontsev estimated Ismailov’s chances to win over Durodola

On February 12, professional boxer, Olympic champion Yegor Mekhontsev told the REN TV channel about the minimal chances of Magomed Ismailov winning in a duel with Olanrevaju Durodola.

Good luck Mohammed. It doesn’t matter if you’re tall or short. It matters whether you can box or not. If Magomed learns to box in two weeks, then maybe he will be able to compete with Durodola, ”said Mekhontsev.

The boxer added that Ismailov will have chances even if his opponent enters the ring in poor health.

Mekhontsev believes that Durodola is more physically prepared than Ismailov.

“I trained with him in the same gym. He constantly came to heavyweights, to light heavyweights, worked there as a sparring partner. That is, he lived due to the fact that he got up in sparring, he was paid money for this. His profession is boxing, he lives and earns by it, ”concluded the athlete.

Earlier, two-time world champion in professional kickboxing Evgeny Orlov shared his expectations for the upcoming fight between Ismailov and Durodola.

He also expressed his opinion that Olanrevaju Durodola would win in a duel with Russian fighter Magomed Ismailov.

The athlete drew attention to the fact that a checkers player can learn the basic chess rules, but he is unlikely to be able to win a game of chess.

As part of the REN TV Fight Club, Ismailov will fight Durodola on February 25. As part of the evening, there will also be a meeting between the world boxing champion, junior police lieutenant Mark Petrovsky and Kenyan Collins Oyal, nicknamed the African Lion.
