Basketball Bundesliga: Alba beats MBC and is in the playoffs

Alba Berlin has qualified for the playoffs of the basketball Bundesliga. The Berliners won the play-in game against the Syntainics MBC at 81:78 (43:32) at home. While Alba meets Ratiopharm Ulm in the quarterfinals, the MBC will get another chance against EWE Baskets Oldenburg on Thursday at home. Oldenburg won against the Rostock Seawolves with 95:83 (45:45).

The game in front of 5,891 spectators in Berlin started completely differently than the past duel almost 14 days ago, the Alba had won 90:62 at the same site. Because the hosts initially had problems finding in the game and were first behind (6:10). The MBC met mainly from a distance, but Alba left too many chances.
