BBC: Ex-Unioner Awoniyi awakened after emergency surgery from coma

According to the English BBC, the former Bundesliga striker Taiwo Awoniyi woke up from the artificial coma on Wednesday evening. According to the BBC, the wound is said to have been closed on Wednesday and Awoniyi was then brought back from a coma during the evening. A life -threatening state did not exist, it said.
