Although there have been trend sports in the United States since 1989, “Roundnet” has only become more important in this country in recent years. We explain the rules of the game.

Roundnet is actually the correct name of this sport, but the word “spike ball” (a brand name) has prevailed in many places. It means “butterfly ball” and combines two sports: volleyball and Four Square. The 360-degree trend sport with two teams of two players is played: inside, which stands in the circle around a small trampoline-a kind of ring that a network was stretched. 1. All players are in a circle around the net and can move in a radius of 360 degrees in all directions when playing the ball when they are the turn.

Similar to volleyball, the outcome of the game is decided on points, i.e. the team always wins, which first 21 points has achieved. And the rules are also similar – these are the most important:

• The opposing team must not be hindered by anyone.
