Giro: Roglic to the first mountain arrival in the pink jersey
The Giro has arrived in Italy’s mountains. Primoz Roglic takes over the pink jersey in the Abruzzo. After the mass crash from the previous day, the diagnoses have been determined for two cycling professionals.
Tophavorit Primoz Roglic took over the pink jersey after the first mountain arrival of the 108th Giro d’Italia. The 35-year-old Slovenen was enough for a fourth place on the heavy seventh stage of the Tour of Italy over 168 kilometers and 3,500 meters of altitude. The professional of the German Red Bull team is four seconds before the day winner, the Spaniard Juan Ayuso, and nine seconds ahead of Isaac del Toro from Mexico.
