Ex-Bayern star Lucio is in the hospital with severe burns
The Brazilian ex-soccer player Lucio, who played for FC Bayern for a long time, burned himself hard in a home accident. What exactly happened is unclear.
Former Bundesliga star Lúcio suffered burns in a home accident and is treated in a hospital in Brasilia. How bad the injuries are initially not known. However, the Brazilian newspaper “O Globo” and the online portal Terra reported that the 47-year-old was looked after by a team of doctors from different disciplines. The 2002 football champion is conscious.
The central defender and former captain of the Brazilian national team played in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen from 2001. He became runner-up in 2002 and reached the DFB Cup final and the final of the Champions League.
