River announced its new internationalization strategy with the launch of Globalcarp

One month after the start of the Club World Cup, the “Millionaire” reported the creation of its social media accounts in English. The entity seeks to expand outside Argentina.

Shortly from the beginning of the Club World Cup in USAthe “millionaire” announced on Wednesday the launch of River Plate Globala new digital initiative that aims to connect with its fans throughout the planet through social networks in English.

With this project, River expects to deepen its process of internationalization and global expansion, seeking to bring its history, news and passion to new audiences outside Argentina.

The club formalized the launch through a statement in which it highlighted: “With this new channel, River aims to strengthen its presence in the global field, bringing its history, news and passion to fans and audiences around the world.”.

The secretary general of the institution, Stefano di Carloexplained the background of the proposal: “This is a new step in the internationalization process that we have been developing from the club. River is already a global brand thanks to its football, its history of greatness on and off the court and everything that the club means”.
