Golf star Scheffler wins PGA Championship
Scottie Scheffler only made it exciting – and in the end it wins his third major title sovereignly. Three pursuers share second place.
The Golf world list most Scottie Scheffler got its third triumph at a major tournament at PGA Championship. The superstar from the USA played a 71 round in the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte and ended up with five strokes leading to his US regional people Harrison English, Bryson Dechambeau and Davis Riley, each of whom was 278 strokes. Scheffler, the Olympic champion of Paris, had already won the traditional Masters in Augusta in 2022 and 2024.
Scheffler had gone to the last round with a six -stroke lead. Before railway number six there were five strokes – two Bogeys from Scheffler and three birdies from Jon Rahm ensured that the two golfers were on paragraph when Scheffler struck ten on the train. But then Scheffler took control again, played three birdies on the last track and won. Rahm, on the other hand, slipped to the divided eighth place. The German Stephan Jäger remained under his possibilities again with a 74 round, slid back and ended the tournament in 70th place.
