Barcelona are set to soon unveil a sponsor who will be featured on the team’s kits and who will secure the stadium naming rights.
FC Barcelona is about to finalize a lucrative sponsorship deal. That’s what club president Joan Laporta told the Spanish sports newspaper Sports confirmed. According to the report, audio streaming provider Spotify is set to pay the Catalans around €280m in total.
According to Radio Catalunya The deal, which will run for three years from the summer, includes shirt advertising for the Catalans’ first men’s and women’s teams as well as naming rights to the Camp Nou stadium.
Spotify deal ‘the best option’ according to Laporta
“Everything is going quite well. The agreement will be announced when we sign the contract with Spotify,” said Laporta about the progress of the negotiations Sports again. “We think it’s the best option,” he added.
