The third Giro week starts rapidly. A dramatic fall occurs in a stages accompanied by constant rain. And the recently weakened favorite Roglic from the Red Bull team is increasing.
At the start of the third and trickiest week at the 108th Giro d’Itaria, Primoz Roglic rose from the bike. The top star and the favorite acted before the tour was weakened by several falls in the past few days and ended the race after a fall during the 16th stage just under 100 kilometers before the finish. Pictures of his Red Bull team on the “X” platform showed how the 35-year-old left a team car.

Already 180 kilometers before the finish, the tricky weather conditions were noticeable. The British time trial specialist Joshua Tarling, who won the second Giro stage, slid against a guardrail on the wet road and had to give up injured.
