Dead on the edge of Champions League celebrations in France
Huge crowds celebrate Paris Saint-Germain’s final in the Champions League in France. There are also injuries and even a dead man on the edge.
In the south of France, a young man on the edge of a fan celebration was stabbed to the final victory of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. As a police spokeswoman said, he was fatally injured at a meeting of people in the Southwestern French Dax, who celebrated the PSG triumph. How exactly the incident came about was initially unclear. The exact age of the dead was not confirmed either.
On Saturday evening, a car drove into a crowd in Grenoble in Eastern French. According to the police, it was an accident. Four members of a family were injured, two of them seriously.
The police were initially unable to name any further figures on injured around the Champions League triumph from PSG. At least 294 people had been arrested in Paris during riots at night. The French football champion won the final in Munich 5-0 against Inter Milan and conquered the title in Europe’s premier class for the first time.
