Star Quarterback Rodgers goes to Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers is not yet finished with the NFL. After two difficult years in New York, the quarterback is now hiring to a team with which it has been flirting for months.

NFL Quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues his career at the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 41-year-old agreed with the Steelers on a one-year contract, subject to the medical examination, as the club announced. Rodgers goes into his 21st season in the American football league after selecting the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the NFL draft in 2005.

Rodgers and the Steelers had cared for each other in the past few months. The football professional is one of the most successful quarterbacks in the league, but had a difficult time after a Achilles tendon tear as a New York Jets player.

No more space under new coach

He missed the majority of the 2023 season due to injury because he got serious injury in the first game. Last season, the jets only won five season games despite 28 touchdown passes from Rodgers, including its 500th in the NFL. So head coach Robert Saleh had to go early in the season and later general manager Joe Douglas. Rodgers was released from the jets in March after the new coaching team around Aaron Glenn.

The first 18 years of his career, the Californian, who was chosen four times as the most valuable player in the NFL, was active at the Green Bay Packers. With the Packers, Rodgers also won the Super Bowl – against the Steelers.

Rodgers replaces the quarterback duo Mason Rudolph and Justin Fields in Pittsburgh. They both play in New York next season. Wilson signed with the Giants, Fields is the successor to Rodgers at the jets.
