More than 50 drivers and women from other communities participated in the event, where they shared testimonies and their commitment to getting more women to register as drivers.

During this edition, DiDi invited Alejandra Hartman, founder of Lady Fierros Clínica de Autos, and Noelia Ruíz, deputy for the Province of Buenos Aires and specialized in the gender agenda. Together with Delfina Orlando, DiDi Mobility communications manager for Cono Sur, they formed a panel in which they talked about the role of women in the city, their occupation in public space and how mobility platforms are positioned as an opportunity for thousands of women seeking to achieve economic autonomy through a flexible source of income.
Noelia Ruíz assured: “According to the report on gender gaps carried out every year by the World Economic Forum based on 149 countries, Argentina is ranked 96th in terms of economic opportunities for women. In this context, DiDi’s proposal becomes very interesting and relevant. It transforms them into protagonists.”
