Volkswagen will mass produce trucks and buses in Córdoba

Volkswagen Group Argentina has more than US$1.2 billion invested since 2016, more than 1.7 million units produced in Pacheco and 15 million transmissions in Córdoba, and with a presence in each province of the country through a wide network of official dealers.

Representatives of Volkswagen Group Argentina They presented an investment announcement to the Government, for which they reported that they will begin the national serial production of trucks and buses in the province of Córdoba. It was during a meeting with the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, together with the Secretary of Planning and Management for Productive Development and the Bioeconomy, Juan Pazo; and its counterpart from Industry and Commerce, Pablo Lavigne, in the Treasury Palace.

In this sense, at the meeting the plan was presented to produce five versions of the Delivery, Constellation and Volksbus models as part of an investment that VW Group Argentina has underway for the country.

Besides, The representatives of Volkswagen Argentina told the minister that they project for this year that the company will reach a volume of 800 units and that the investments will allow production to increase to 1,300 units per year in 2025 and 2,700 units per year starting in 2026.
