Fourth generation Coyote V8 engine: the most powerful in history
The new generation of Mustang also equips a new generation of the legendary Coyote 5.0 V8 engine, being the fourth evolution of this powertrain. Its evolution comes from lighter materials, as well as new injection, lubrication, cooling and variable valve timing systems, achieving even more efficiency and allowing it to deliver more power and torque. Offers 488 HP at 7,250 RPM and 564 Nm of Torque at 5,000 RPM. This powertrain mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission ensures a superior driving experience, both on the track and on the road.
Improved design and driving dynamics
The exterior design of the new Mustang is totally new and more expressive, with a body a 30% more rigid and aerodynamic details that improve the behavior and cooling of the mechanical components. This model has an independent suspension on all 4 wheels, and inherits hardware elements from the sportier versions of the Mustanglike suspension MagneRidepresent in the Mach-E and Mach-1, the high-performance Brembo brakes and anti-roll bars of the Mustang Mach-1, taking driving dynamics to the next level.
The unique combination of technologies at the service of performance and comfort make the new generation of the Mustang a car that is pleasant to drive at all times, even during the maximum sporting demands, taking the driving emotion to the maximum. It thus becomes a very high-performance sports car, making it also ideal for daily use.

The new Mustang It features a completely new cockpit inspired by fighter jets, with two driver-facing screens for an immersive and customizable digital experience. In addition, it includes a complete package of semi-autonomous driving assistance technologies and is the first Mustang connected, offering both FordPass Connect such as over-the-air software updates.
Among the notable innovations is the “Drift Brake”, an electronic parking brake designed for drifting maneuvers, and the system “Track Apps” on the central screen, which offers commands and track performance monitoring.
The new steering wheel with Thicker grip and flat base improve handling and facilitate entry and exit from the vehicle. Another novelty is the pothole detection and mitigation technology: this system has sensors that read the road 1,000 times per second, and in the event of potholes, they send a signal to the shock absorber, preventing the wheel from falling into it, avoiding the impact and thus improving handling, comfort and reducing the risk of damage.
Pre-sale and launch
The Mustang continues to write its history in Argentina: Since its launch in 2016, more than 500 units were sold in the country, which makes it the best-selling sports car in Argentina since then. Starting in August, all those interested in purchasing a Mustang GT Performance of new generation will be able to approach the dealers to reserve their place in the pre-sale.
