The Ministry of Infrastructure of Buenos Aires announced changes in the platform of Technical Vehicle Inspection (VTV) for requesting shifts. The system on the VTV portal previously allowed anyone who wanted to make an appointment to simply enter their full name, National Identity Document number and vehicle registration to complete the process. Now, more data will be needed.

How to get an appointment with VTV in July 2024
To make an appointment for the VTV you must:
- Create a profile with personal data.
- Choose a password that contains at least one number and one capital letter, with a maximum of 12 characters.
- Enter detailed information about your own vehicle registered in the system.
- Provide the chassis and engine numbers to verify the interested party’s ownership.
