Axel Kicillofgovernor of the province of Buenos Airesclosed his agenda this Thursday at the Mexico Citywhere he met with the Secretary of Public Education, Mario Delgadoand the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, Luis Rosendo Gutierrez. Previously, he was part of the inauguration ceremony of President Claudia Sheinbaum.

During his visit, he took the opportunity to contrast the government of the North American country with that of Javier Milei: ”What is happening in Mexico is exactly the opposite of what is happening in Argentina: here is a national government that promotes development, inclusion and regional integration”.
He highlighted that in Mexico “there is great interest in our countrydespite the policies of an Argentine Government that has decided to turn its back on Latin America,” after having attended various meetings with officials, pointing to ”sustain a work agenda that brings investments to our province”.
Meetings with different officials from Mexico
In the meeting with Delgado, they agreed to move towards a technical cooperation work for the expansion of the Mexican university systembased on the experiences that involved the creation of universities in the Buenos Aires suburbs and the implementation of the Bridges Program to bring higher education to the interior of the province.
For their part, with Gutiérrez they agreed to work together to reinforce investment mechanisms, enhance commercial exchange and generate business rounds between Buenos Aires and Mexican producers.

In addition, the governor signed an agreement with the general director of Lithium for Mexico, Pablo Taddei Arriolato promote coordination between that organization and the Scientific Research Commission (CIC) of the province of Buenos Aires in terms of research and development of the lithium value chain: ”Among the meetings, a very notable one occurred with the representatives of Lithium for Mexico that requested coordinated work with technical assistance from the Scientific Research Commission (CIC) of the province of Buenos Aires to develop a joint strategic plan for lithium industrialization”, Kicillof highlighted.
Finally, he highlighted his reunion with the president of Brazil, Lula da Silvaand pointed out that in all work meetings “The big absentee was a national government that goes against the needs of our country.”. ”We cannot replace that desertion, but we will be present to deepen and strengthen ties with the new Mexican Government and with all the strategic partners of the province of Buenos Aires,” he concluded.
