Until now The project has the signatures of the deputies of Unión por la Patria, Pablo Yedlin, Eugenia Alianello, Ana María Ianni, Hilda Aguirre, Pablo Todero, Roxana Monzón, Jorge Araujo, Andrea Freites, Lorena Pokoik, Nancy Sand, Julio Pereyra, Jorge Romero and Carlos Cisneros. “The initiative is a recognition of all its workers and the contribution they provide to society. Our commitment is to defend Public Health,” said Valdés.

Mental Health Center No. 1 “Dr. Hugo Rosarios”
He Mental Health Center No. 1 is an outpatient mental health care provider that has been operating since 1968. He is responsible for attending, with a interdisciplinary and inter-institutional work, and free of charge, to people with complex mental health problems. More than 110 workers, staff professionals, concurrent workers, residents and administrators work in the space. It is provided care for minors, adolescents, adults and families. Issues of violence, child abuse, social violation and severe mental health disorders are addressed. It has specialized teams for addictions, gender violence and groups. It also has two day hospitals; one for adults and another for juveniles called “La Cigarra” specialized in autism and psychosis. It has a Community and Social Inclusion Area and also a space dedicated to teaching and research. More than 1,000 people are served per week and the Pharmacy sector dispenses more than 500 medication prescriptions per month.
From the moment they learned of the situation, the Workers of the institution declared a state of alert and mobilization to defend the Health Center.
