The lawyer for the family of Sofía Delgado, the young woman who was found dead in Santa Fe after being missing for 15 days, said that they had “the hope that he would appear alive” and that they believe that one of the five detainees “broke.”
“There were people who did not dare to speak. There is an area raided yesterday where this could have been known, someone spoke or the detainees broke down,” expressed Fernando Virgili.
In the midst of a heartbreaking scenario for the family, the lawyer stressed that they will now seek to know if it was a femicide, although everything would indicate that it was.
“We were hoping he would appear alive”Virgili said in dialogue with Cadena 3.
“The media gave us a hand for this result. Now we are trying to analyze all the detained people, to know the degree of participation,” said the defender, in relation to the gratitude of Delgado’s mother.
While waiting to know the implication of each of the detainees, Virgili stressed that they had certain information because they had been summoned: “We understood that they were decisive moments. We were cautious.”
Finally, he pointed out that the discovery of the body was not far from the home of the 20-year-old girl: “Ricardone is next to San Lorenzo.”
“I don’t know if the family agrees or not. Now we have a crime, we can now classify it,” he stressed.
