From Canada and direct to Argentina, Homeshake returns to our country with his textural and dreamlike indie pop. After debuting with an intimate show in 2017, the project Peter Sagar returns with a new album.
“Horsie”, his seventh L,P is a polychromatic work, with textures influenced by artists like Four Tet and My Bloody Valentine, through songs about evolution, reflection, self-love and the world around him. The show will be on Wednesday, February 12 at Niceto Club.

“Horsie” is the second album that Homeshake presents in 2024, after “Wallet”. Written and recorded in his home studio in Toronto, it explores Sagar’s complicated feelings about his return to live performances. Delving into his relationship with loneliness and anxiety, the album examines these issues in the context of a tour.
Each song evokes a sentimentally induced coma, protecting and preserving one’s creativity while threatening to slide into uncritical nostalgia; a tension that Sagar’s music struggles with but never falls victim to. This sense of challenging oneself to make work that focuses on pure self-expression dates back to the origin of Homeshake, a chaotic period during which Sagar split his time between recording in the home studio and playing guitar in the band. on tour Mac Demarco. After a long period on the road, he decided to leave Demarco’s group to focus entirely on his own work.
