In the middle of the album we come across “Like Someone In Love”a pleasant surprise in the key of a jazz standard, which Björk recorded with the harpist Corky Hale.

Produced by Nelle Hooper, Debut It rose to third place on the British charts and reached number 61 on the United States charts.. In any case, over time it became one of their best-selling and most prestigious albums. A curious fact is that “play dead“, a song written by Björk with David Arnold and Jah Wooble for the film The Young Americans (1993) that was not included on the album, but was later part of all the reissues.
