Mendoza: 27 victims of labor trafficking were rescued

Almost 30 people were rescued in the province of Mendoza after being victims of labor trafficking. Among them were six minors, who were exploited.

The crime was discovered in three farms located in the Mendoza town of Three Corners. Those rescued are from the provinces of Salta, Santiago del Estero, Jujuy and Buenos Aires.

According to local sources, it all began with a complaint received last Friday, December 13, for which the necessary investigations were carried out within the framework of a case for “trafficking in persons for labor exploitation”, headed by the Complex Crime Investigations and Judicial Procedure Unit of Mendoza.

Once the investigation was carried out and the complaint confirmed, the intervening judge of Mendoza issued the judicial measure to carry out multiple raids on three properties located in the department. Saint Charles.

The operation was carried out with the support of personnel from the Squadron 28 “Tunuyán” and Squadron 64and also had the presence of professionals from the National Rescue and Support Program for Persons Damaged by the Crime of Trafficking.

At the same time, high levels of vulnerability were detected in the raids, starting from the discovery of precarious situations in the habitat.
