Tesla calls back his cyberruck – for the eighth time

Loose decorative strips Brocken Teslas Cybertruck entered the next recall campaign in the USA. The wide metal strips on the edge of the windscreen and over the doors are attached with adhesive material and can detach themselves.

So far, 151 cybertruck drivers have reported the problem as a guarantee case, as can be seen from documents from the NHTSA traffic safety authority. However, Tesla is not known to accidents or injuries in connection with it.

Since all cybertrucks could potentially be affected, the recall campaign also announces that Tesla produced a total of almost 46,100 vehicles in the model from November 2023 to the end of February this year. Tesla boss Elon Musk previously promised to build up to 250,000 cybertrucks annually over time.

The decorative strips should now also be attached with the help of screw connections. Tesla also grabbed screwing when the decorative cover of the accelerator pedal replaced and threatened to tilting up.

Overall, it is already the eighth recall campaign for cybertruck. However, part of it was solved by software update, such as the delayed transmission of images of the reversing camera.

With the angular cyberruck, Tesla plans to advance to the market segment of the big pickups popular in the USA. So far it has been dominated by vehicles with combustion engines. Musk already admitted that Tesla is expected to change the vehicle for the market launch of cybertrucks in Europe.
