The Upper Austrian Job Week 2023 will take place from March 20th to 25th and will thus enter the next round after the successful premiere last year.
In this career choice week, more than 500 companies across Upper Austria will present themselves. This gives job and apprenticeship seekers the ideal opportunity to get to know various companies in their region and to experience the respective professions live.
Employee meets employer
“At the Upper Austrian Job Week, employers and potential employees and apprentices meet where it is important, namely at the future workplace. Interested parties receive a wide range of insights into jobs and work processes and can try out their talents right away,” explains WKOÖ President Doris Hummer.
In contrast to trade fairs, the companies themselves are the scene of this career choice week. The wide range of offers ranges from taster sessions, factory tours, lectures or evening events to open house days to speed dating and workshops. All offers are published on the www.jobweek.at platform. Interested parties can now register directly here. The visit is free of charge. Pupils also have the opportunity to visit companies during class.
Together to the goal
“The Upper Austrian Job Week is cross-industry and cross-district,” explains project manager Robert Oberfrank. According to the motto “Together we are stronger”, the week of career choice of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce works together with important cooperation partners, for example with the education department of Upper Austria and the AMS, which actively draws the attention of job seekers to the Upper Austrian Job Week.
